Happy Birthday!

The day you were born, I was very excited. And yet skeptical. Would I be able to manage you? Would I be able to handle you with care? Would I be able to do justice to you? Would people accept you for who you are? Would you be loved?

And most importantly, would I be happy?

Today....as I celebrate your birthday, I can firmly say that I am proud of you. And thankful to everyone who has been a part of you; to all those who have played a big role in making you who you are.

Happy Birthday Psychobabble!!

P.S: Birthday dedications are being accepted.

  1. A verr HAPPY birthday...!

Will come back with dedications of course..!

    but
    Through this blog..
I have found solace for my wounds
I have found hope for my own hopes.
I have found you..and for you I look forward to them little gems.. that makes my head ponder and my heart questioning my own prejudices.

  4. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt, as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear, as young as your hope, as old as your despair.

Wish u a very Happy Birthday and a rocking year ahead!!!

    thanx

sometimes things just take wrong connotations.....wat can we do...

  11. @ Ceedy, I am used to all kinds of connotations. There is a very skewed view of psychology in some nations, India included and hence, I do get all sorts of funny comments all the time such as "I was afraid to talk to you", "Are you analyzing me right now", "Are you reading my mind".

GEEZ! I work hard as it is. I don't like to work overtime and analyze people around me!

  15. I agree about what you write - I do face it all the times...from different people...

here in this case by connotation I meant more towards - because this is a written word as opposed to face to face interaction - intentions to share ideas and knowledge can make people uncomfortable for obvious reasons....

so i think we all learnt a lesson today :)

btw - happy birthday....anything connection to the chinese new year...
